We mainly offer work in sorting, packing, cleaning and harvesting. We offer various challenges in different sectors and are happy to help you find suitable work. We offer opportunities for both temporary and permanent work and make sure you get the right support to do your job to the best of your ability.

At De Jager Detachering, we understand that it is important to be well prepared to start working for our clients. Therefore, we would like to highlight a few important things. First of all, we cannot guarantee that partners will work together. This depends on where there is space at our various clients. When you arrive, we will therefore inform you which company you can start at. We do our best to provide everyone with a permanent workplace. In addition, we provide free work clothes and work shoes so that you can work safely and comfortably. Moreover, on your first working day, someone is always there to give you information about the company you will be working for.

Meat, fish and mussels

This branch involves sorting and pallet work, where you will work a minimum of 40 hours per week and have the possibility of working overtime. 

Work takes place in the months of July to September and is carried out in wet and cold conditions. 

Onions and potatoes

At De Jager Detachering, we also offer opportunities to work in the onion and potato sector. Activities in this branch include sorting onions from a conveyor belt or packing onions. You will work a minimum of 40 hours a week here and have the option of working overtime. 

Work in this industry takes place throughout the year, from January to December.

Fruit and vegetable processing

Work in this industry includes sorting fruit and vegetables and carrying out pallet duties. You work a minimum of 40 hours a week here and have the option of working overtime.

Work in this branch takes place from June to December.

Canning factory

Working in the canning industry is a challenge where you will take on packaging sorting and inspection tasks. Here, you can count on a working week of at least 40 hours, with the possibility of working overtime. Moreover, this work is available all year round, from January to December, and takes place in a wonderfully dry working environment.

Agriculture and fruit picking

Working in agriculture and fruit picking is a varied and active challenge where you will perform tasks such as weeding, planting and cutting. You will also be responsible for picking delicious apples and pears. As an employee in this industry, you can count on a minimum working week of 40 hours, with the possibility of working additional hours. This work mainly takes place from May to September, depending on the harvest period.

Working conditions depend on weather conditions, but generally working outdoors is a refreshing change. Working in agriculture and fruit picking offers a challenging and dynamic work environment for those who enjoy being part of a team focused on quality and efficiency in the production of healthy food.

Metalworking and recycling

Working in the metalworking and recycling industry is a challenging and dynamic job where you will be involved in various tasks, such as sanding, welding, sawing and painting. You will also be involved in sorting waste, which contributes to the sustainable process of recycling. As an employee, you can count on a minimum working week of 40 hours, with the possibility of working additional hours. 

This work takes place all year round, from January to December. Working conditions are excellent, with a dry room where the temperature is kept at a pleasant 18 degrees. Working in the metalworking and recycling industry offers a challenging and dynamic working environment for those who enjoy being part of a team focused on quality, efficiency and sustainability in the production of high-quality materials.

Food industry

Working in the food industry offers a dynamic and challenging work environment where you will be involved in sorting and packing operations of fresh and frozen products. As an employee, you can count on a minimum working week of 40 hours with the possibility of working additional hours. This work takes place throughout the year, from January to December. Working conditions are excellent, with a dry room where the temperature is kept at a pleasant 18 degrees.
